We're excited to be supporting this prestigious, global law firm, as they recruit for a Leadership Communications Lead into their communications team. This is a pivotal role, involving crafting and guiding strategic internal and external messaging for senior leadership, driving the firm’s reputation, influence, and strategic positioning on a global stage.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for senior leadership, aligning messaging with firm priorities and values.
- Draft and coordinate high-impact speeches, press statements, and thought leadership content for the Managing Partner and Senior Partner.
- Support leadership in preparing for key engagements, including speeches, interviews, town halls, and external events, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Advise senior leaders on communication approaches, narratives, and engagement techniques to amplify their influence.
- Manage the delivery and follow-up of all leadership communications, ensuring messages resonate across diverse internal and external channels.
- Monitor market trends and competitor communication strategies to inform and enhance firm messaging.
- Measure the effectiveness of executive communications and provide ongoing improvements based on feedback and analytics.
Experience required
- Demonstrated experience in executive or leadership communications within a global professional services or central government environment.
- Proven ability to craft impactful messages for senior leaders and high-profile events, particularly speech writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, guiding and advising senior teams with integrity and tact.
- Ability to translate complex strategic priorities into clear, engaging messages.
- Adaptability in high-pressure situations, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Well-versed in digital communication platforms and external market dynamics.
