Talent Frame is delighted to partner with a award winning Law Firm to hire a Senior Business Development Manager in their Energy & Infrastructure sector team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and lead growth strategies within a prestigious law firm’s sector group, influencing high-stakes transactions and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligning with global growth objectives and sector needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including partners and clients, to support strategic initiatives and key opportunities.
  • Oversee and drive BD activities, ensuring alignment with overarching firm goals, tracking performance metrics, and adjusting tactics to optimise results.
  • Use data-driven insights from market, product, and client feedback to identify new avenues for growth and cross-selling.
  • Design and implement targeted Energy & Infrastructure sector and client growth strategies, fostering collaboration with global product teams.
  • Lead the creation of compelling proposals and oversee pitch strategies to secure high-value mandates.
  • Coordinate with Business Development & Marketing teams to develop sector-specific campaigns that resonate with target clients and markets.
  • Regularly analyse pipeline data, monitor market trends, and refine strategies to ensure profitable revenue growth.
  • Support and develop the BD team, encouraging best practices, talent development, and a positive team environment.

Person Specification

  • Extensive experience in business development within legal services, with a focus on the Energy & Infrastructure sector.
  • Proven success in creating and implementing strategic growth initiatives and in fostering senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Skilled at leveraging data insights for market opportunity identification and client engagement.
  • Experienced in developing sophisticated pitches and cross-practice selling strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align tactical activities with firm-wide objectives.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

What’s on Offer
Salary: £75-85k depending on experience
