Role Overview
Talent Frame are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Senior Pursuits Manager (12m FTC) role. This position plays a vital part in leading strategic tender activities, overseeing pursuit processes, and driving the firm's success in competitive bid environments. The successful candidate will bring a blend of operational expertise and client engagement to maximise win rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Chair and manage start-up meetings, guiding propositions through development, design, and production phases.
• Identify potential challenges early, proactively develop solutions, and escalate issues where necessary.
• Assess opportunities with a strategic go/no-go approach aligned with commercial priorities.
• Foster collaboration across departments and sectors to spot interconnected opportunity areas.
• Engage subject matter experts appropriately, ensuring contributions are strategically commercial.
• Maintain detailed pursuits plans, monitor competitor activity, and identify engagement points.
• Collaborate with business development teams to horizon scan and plan ahead for upcoming opportunities.
• Lead daily operational pursuit activities, including tender management and obtaining client feedback.
• Deliver compelling, tailored submissions for public and private sector opportunities.
• Analyse pursuit data to inform strategy and optimise future winning approaches.
• Manage and develop the pursuit team by fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in managing complex tender or pursuit processes within a professional services environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong project management skills with a systematic, outcome-focused approach.
• Ability to produce high-quality, tailored content under tight deadlines.
• Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure without compromising quality.
• Skilled at interpreting client needs and leveraging cross-departmental expertise.
• Inspirational leadership style, committed to team development and engagement.
