Talent Frame are working with a highly reputable, international law firm as they hire a Senior PR Manager to their team. The role can be based in either their London, Leeds or Bristol office on a hybrid basis.
The Senior PR Manager will work closely with the head of comms to help shape the PR strategy, drive thought leadership campaigns and proactively secure media coverage for the firm. The role would suit a Senior PR Manager who is eager for a fresh challenge, or a well established PR Manager who is ready for a step up in responsibility. Previous experience of working in a PR role within a law firm is required.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership, partners, fee earners and internal stakeholders
- Shape the UK wide PR strategy and oversee campaign execution
- Develop thought leadership and partner profiling campaigns to build positive reputation in the media
- Proactively build relationships with journalists to secure positive media coverage across tier 1 UK, national, trade and business press
- Work collaboratively with international offices to execute global PR campaigns
- Develop content including press releases, thought leadership articles, corporate messaging, articles and media pitches
- Line manage, support and develop junior team members
- Work closely with the Internal Communications team to ensure external messaging aligns
- Support broader marketing and business development initiatives
- Manage the external PR agency relationship
Experience required
- Previous experience of working in a Senior PR Manager capacity within a law firm
- Proven experience of developing media strategies and securing coverage opportunities
- Excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape with a black book of go-to contacts
- Senior stakeholder management experience
