This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded practice within a leading firm, supporting a busy and high-performing team focused on delivering strategic business development and client growth initiatives.

The Corporate practice is a flagship area of the firm, supported by ambitious leadership and a clear focus on enhancing market profile, strengthening client relationships and supporting key strategic opportunities. You would join a close-knit Business Development team, playing a key role in delivering on these objectives within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The role will suit a proactive and driven Business Development professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to a wide range of marketing and BD activity. The Role
Reporting into the Business Development Manager and working closely with partners and wider BD colleagues, the Business Development Executive will support the delivery of a broad range of business development and marketing activity across the Corporate practice.

The position offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to both strategic and day-to-day BD initiatives, supporting client development, marketing campaigns and wider practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with partners and BD colleagues to support the delivery of business development initiatives across the Corporate practice.
  • Support the preparation and execution of pitches and proposals, including coordination, drafting and sourcing relevant credentials and supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with wider BD and marketing teams on larger, multi-practice and panel opportunities.
  • Maintain and update credentials, CRM data and pitch materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of directory and awards submissions, working with key stakeholders to develop high-quality content.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of client events, campaigns and seminars, including logistics, communications and follow-up activity.
  • Support client targeting and relationship development initiatives across existing and prospective clients.
  • Track and report on pitch activity, ensuring feedback and outcomes are captured and shared effectively.
  • Contribute to wider BD projects, campaigns and ad hoc initiatives across the Corporate practice.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a Business Development or Marketing role within a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and building strong internal relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Highly proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach.
  • A collaborative team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
