Talent Frame are pleased to be working with a global law firm to hire a Senior Business Development Manager role. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic client and market development initiatives within the Tech, Media & Entertainment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term sector-specific marketing and business development strategies to support sustainable revenue growth.
- Create annual and multi-year plans aligned with sector objectives, including financial and resource targets.
- Analyse market data and insights to identify opportunities, monitor trends, and refine strategies accordingly.
- Manage and grow high-potential client portfolios, fostering collaboration across teams to enhance client engagement and retention.
- Lead the creation of compelling proposals and pitches, ensuring alignment with firm standards and client needs.
- Support the delivery of targeted campaigns focusing on key clients and audiences within the TME sector.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Prepare and oversee sector budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure value-driven resource allocation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and other departments to deliver integrated business development initiatives.
Person Specification
- Extensive experience in senior business development roles within professional services, ideally with at least 8 years in similar capacities.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and delivering sector-focused BD and marketing strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with partners and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client portfolios and execute client development plans.
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, with a data-driven approach to strategic decision making.
- Skilled at building networks, fostering collaboration, and leading change within a matrixed environment.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptable, and able to communicate clearly across diverse audiences.
- Passion for the Tech, Media & Entertainment sector, with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
