Senior BD Manager (Employment & Tax)

Talent Frame are working with a global leading law firm on a fantastic Senior BD Manager role. The successful candidate will lead strategic business development initiatives within the Employment & Incentives, Pensions and Tax practices, driving growth and enhancing client engagement across the firm’s global network.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored business development strategies aligned with global growth objectives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key clients to support strategic initiatives.
• Drive the execution of BD projects, monitor progress, and optimise tactics to meet targets.
• utilise data and market insights to identify new business opportunities and refine strategies.
• Lead the creation of compelling pitches, proposals, and go-to-market campaigns for complex Employment & Tax mandates.
• Foster collaboration across practice groups to leverage cross-selling opportunities and expand market reach.
• Oversee pipeline management and ensure BD activities align with the firm’s strategic goals.
• Manage and develop a high-performing BD team, cultivating a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Person Specification

• Extensive experience in business development within legal services, specifically in Employment & Incentives, Pensions and Tax practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful BD strategies that deliver measurable results.
• Strong relationship management skills, with a track record of working with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Skilled in creating persuasive pitches and proposals for sophisticated clients and matters.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and identify opportunities.
• Excellent leadership qualities, with a focus on team development and fostering an inclusive culture.
• Strategic thinker capable of aligning tactical BD activities with broader organisational objectives.
