We are excited to be partnering with our client - a highly reputable global law firm - as they hire a PR Manager (UK & EMEA) into their growing team. Please note, the role can be based in Manchester, Leeds or London. The successful candidate will lead external PR initiatives for the firm - in collaboration with the Senior PR Lead - enhancing its brand and reputation across media channels in the UK and Europe. The role will involve crafting impactful messaging, fostering strong media relationships, and supporting the firm’s reputation as a trusted industry leader across the UK, EMEA, and beyond.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute external communications strategies focused on the UK and EMEA regions.
- Create compelling content for press releases, media stories, and firm updates.
- Cultivate media relationships to secure positive coverage and manage inquiries.
- Support senior leaders with media guidance and crisis communication.
- Oversee awards submissions and industry surveys to enhance reputation.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and reports.
- Manage relationships with external PR agencies and oversee activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
Experience required
- Previous experience in PR or corporate comms, within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Experience in a PR agency would be highly advantageous.
- Proven media relationship management skills.
- Excellent writing and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Knowledge of digital, social media, and multimedia content creation.
- Experience working with external PR agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset.
