We are partnering with a leading global Law firm as they hire for a Corporate Relations Lead into their communications division. This strategic position involves shaping and executing impactful internal and external communications programmes, supporting its reputation and engaging stakeholders across the core practice area - most likely corporate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies tailored to the practice area, ensuring alignment with overarching firm goals.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, providing strategic support on profile-raising and reputation management efforts.
  • Create and oversee the production of high-quality content including deal reports, market commentaries, thought leadership pieces, and engaging town hall presentations.
  • Manage media relations activities, cultivating relationships with journalists, organising briefings, and responding to media inquiries effectively.
  • Offer expert guidance on communications related to high-profile transactions, regulatory updates, and sensitive business matters.
  • Analyse communication outcomes through metrics and insights, continuously refining approaches to maximise impact.
  • Promote collaboration across divisions by sharing best practices and insights, enhancing the firm’s collective communication efforts.

Experience required

  • Extensive experience in communications, public relations, or marketing within a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in media relations and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proven track record advising senior executives on complex or sensitive communication scenarios.
  • Ability to craft engaging, high-calibre content tailored to sophisticated audiences.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly diplomatic, collaborative, and able to manage confidential, high-stakes projects with agility.
  • Innovative thinker with adaptable approaches to evolving communication needs.
