We are delighted to be partnering with our client on a fantastic Client Account Executive opportunity. This is an exciting role for a Business Development professional looking to join a highly regarded international law firm with an extensive global network. Working as part of the firm's Global Business Development & Marketing team, you'll support the delivery of strategic client account management across a portfolio of key global clients, helping to strengthen relationships, deliver valuable market insights and coordinate initiatives that drive long-term client growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the Global Client Account Managers in delivering strategic account plans across the firm's Global Client Programme.
- Coordinate client planning activity, ensuring client plans remain up to date and actions are tracked through to completion.
- Organise and support client relationship meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, capturing actions and monitoring progress with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain relationship maps and ensure key client contacts and CRM data remain accurate and up to date.
- Conduct client, competitor and market research, providing valuable insights to support client planning and business development activity.
- Manage CRM administration, including logging meetings, maintaining client records and producing reports and trackers.
- Support the delivery of client initiatives, including thought leadership campaigns, events, training programmes and internal communications.
- Assist with analysing client revenue, pipeline and share of wallet data, identifying opportunities for growth and highlighting potential risks.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and support the delivery of client review meetings.
- Assist with capability statements, panel submissions and pitch opportunities, working closely with the wider Business Development team.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Business Development, Marketing and wider business services teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Contribute to wider client account management and Business Development projects as required.
Experience Required
- Previous Business Development experience within a law firm or wider professional services environment.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging with senior professionals.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional and engaging business documents.
- Good analytical skills, with experience interpreting client, financial or market data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, alongside strong Word and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally InterAction or a similar platform, would be advantageous.
- A proactive, collaborative and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work effectively across international teams.
