Talent Frame are recruiting a Business Development Executive to join the Marketing and Business Development team of a highly regarded UK law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm experiencing continued growth, where business development and client service sit at the heart of its strategy, supported by recent investment in senior leadership and capability. Based primarily in London with exposure across multiple offices, the role will suit an experienced BD Assistant ready to step up, a BD Executive seeking broader responsibility, or candidates from related areas such as marketing or research who are keen to specialise in business development.
The Role
Reporting to the BD Manager and working closely with the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Executive will support the delivery of firmwide BD activity and key departmental projects. The role involves close collaboration with lawyers and senior stakeholders across the business, as well as regular interaction with colleagues across the wider marketing and BD team.
Key Responsibilities

Work closely with practice groups to implement business development and client/referrer relationship management best practice, providing practical guidance on effective BD and marketing activity.

Support departments and teams on tenders, proposals and work-winning opportunities, including coordination, drafting support, delivery management and feedback gathering.

Act as a connector across departments, identifying cross-selling opportunities and facilitating collaboration between teams.

Contribute to both routine and opportunity-led BD initiatives and projects, working across multiple departments where required.

Lead proactive and ad-hoc research projects to support client targeting, market positioning and work-winning strategies.

Act as a key liaison between lawyers and the wider marketing and BD team, helping to clarify how BD activity is supported and delivered across the firm.

Support targeted events and marketing campaigns where required, including audience targeting and event execution focused on winning work.
Person Specification

Experience working in or alongside a marketing and business development function, ideally within a professional services environment.

Exposure to client-facing materials such as proposals, tenders or pitch documentation.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

Commercially minded, with an appetite for becoming a trusted BD adviser and point of contact within the business.

Proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

A collaborative team player with an interest across all areas of marketing and business development.

Ambitious and motivated to make a visible impact within a growing and evolving team.

Willingness to work across multiple office locations as required, with a minimum expectation of three days per week in the office.
