Talent Frame are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Bid Manager role. This permanent position supports the end-to-end delivery of tender and framework submissions, from opportunity identification and bid planning through to compliant, high-quality responses aligned to customer evaluation criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tender and framework response management, including opportunity tracking and timely submissions
- Develop bid strategy, required inputs, and resource plans to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather, review, and approve content and supporting documentation
- Write, edit, and quality-check bid responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment to evaluation and scoring criteria
- Ensure submissions comply with relevant procurement rules, mandatory requirements, and governance processes
- Maintain reusable bid content libraries and document outcomes, win/loss learnings, and improvements
- Manage bid portal activity and bid records, ensuring consistent reporting and version control
Person Specification
- Proven experience managing bids, proposals, or tenders, within the technology or software industry
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to tailor responses to specific evaluation criteria
- Understanding of public sector procurement exercises, framework bids, and common assessment methodologies
- Excellent organisational and project management skills to handle multiple bids concurrently
- High attention to detail and a quality-focused approach to document preparation and compliance
- Confident use of AI tools and document workflows
- Experience of contract framework bids
- Additional European language skills would be advantageous - particularly French or German, but only if you have the other required experience and can qualify for SC clearance
- Familiarity with procurement documentation structures and evidence-based response writing
