Talent Frame are delighted to partner with a leading law firm to hire a Bid Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative Business Development team, supporting the delivery of high-quality bids and tenders that contribute to the firm's continued growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Bid Manager and key stakeholders across the business, playing an integral role throughout the bid lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source and circulate relevant tender opportunities across the firm.
- Support the management of bids and tenders, ensuring deadlines and key deliverables are met.
- Prepare and submit tender responses via online procurement portals.
- Draft and collate non-technical bid responses using existing content and firm collateral.
- Coordinate input from Partners, fee earners and business services teams to produce compelling submissions.
- Assist with contract reviews and compliance checks throughout the tender process.
- Maintain an organised library of bid content, precedent documents and previous submissions.
- Log upcoming tender opportunities and monitor bid activity.
- Gather and record feedback on successful and unsuccessful tenders to support continuous improvement.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate an efficient bid process.
Person Specification
- Previous experience within a bids, business development or marketing role, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Previous bid writing or tender management experience is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, collaborative and able to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
- Positive, flexible approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Keen to identify opportunities to improve processes and promote best practice.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience is desirable.
