Talent Frame are delighted to be partnering with a leading architecture practice to hire a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join their Manchester studio. This role will support growth and profile-raising activity across the North region, as well as contributing to national sector initiatives.
Working closely with the North Leadership Team and wider Work Winning function, the successful candidate will support regional business development and marketing activity, helping to identify opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
This is a varied and hands-on role offering strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to both regional strategy and national sector work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the North region’s business development and marketing strategy in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Identify and support new business opportunities across key target sectors.
- Maintain and track regional BD activity, leads, and opportunities in line with CRM processes.
- Coordinate and support client engagement activity including meetings, events, and P2P programmes.
- Assist in planning and delivery of targeted BD and marketing campaigns aligned to regional priorities.
- Organise and support events, networking activity, and external engagement opportunities.
- Produce and coordinate marketing content including news, press releases, and social media updates.
- Support award submissions, including tracking, drafting, and coordination with project teams.
- Develop project communications plans and support wider campaign activity.
- Gather and share client feedback to support relationship development and continuous improvement.
- Support preparation of bid and marketing collateral, ensuring materials are up to date and accessible.
- Work closely with central marketing and bid teams to share insights, content, and market intelligence.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or business development role, ideally within architecture, design, construction, or professional services.
- Strong written communication skills with experience producing content and marketing materials.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation for branding and consistency.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and external clients.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative approach.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing data.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign experience is desirable.
- Interest in the built environment or architecture sector is advantageous.
