Talent Frame are hiring a BD Manager for a 12 month FTC working for a US Law Firm in London. This position offers an opportunity to support a busy business development and communications team within a leading law firm, driving strategic initiatives and enhancing client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the firm’s business development, marketing, and communication strategies across multiple practice groups and client teams.
  • Develop and prepare pitch materials, presentations, proposals, and timelines to aid business development efforts.
  • Assist with managing the firm’s communications, including drafting content for websites, intranet, and client alerts, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Coordinate event planning and management, such as webinars, client events, and sponsorship activities, including logistics, invitations, approvals, and budgeting.
  • Support media and PR activities, working closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to promote the firm’s reputation.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, clients, and prospects to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with tracking and analysing metrics related to business development and communication activities.
  • Support the update and management of lawyer biographies, directories, and practice literature.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure cohesive project delivery.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in marketing or business development, ideally within a law firm or professional services organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of InterAction, Vuture, and Ruby is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise content.
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders, including partners and fee earners.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, discretion, and professionalism in all dealings.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.

What’s on Offer
Salary: £80,000 per year.
