Talent Frame are delighted to partner with a boutique law firm in London to hire a Business Development & Marketing Manager. The focus is on leading strategic BD activities across key practice areas including Corporate, Real Estate and Litigation, as well as supporting revenue growth and strengthening client and intermediary relationships within a distinguished professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans for the firm's Real Estate, Corporate and Litigation teams, aligning with strategic growth objectives.
- Provide expert advice and support on identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and executing targeted BD initiatives, including client outreach and pitches.
- Manage relationships with key clients and intermediaries, enhancing referrals and collaboration opportunities.
- Support and coach fee earners in their BD efforts through tailored training and guidance.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to deliver impactful campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality directory submissions, pitch documents, and credentials for business development pursuits.
- Utilise CRM systems effectively to track relationships, generate insights, and foster proactive engagement.
- Identify market trends and new client opportunities by conducting research and industry analysis.
- Maintain external networks to gather market intelligence and explore new avenues for growth.
- Contribute to cross-practice initiatives and assist with additional BD projects as required.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in professional services business development and marketing, ideally within a law firm or similar environment.
- Proven success in leading and executing BD strategies at senior or managerial levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written communication, creative thinking, and IT proficiency.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with partners, fee earners, and external stakeholders.
- Adaptable, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.
