Talent Frame are pleased to be hiring a Business Development Assistant for a leading UK law firm based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Business Development and Marketing team, where you'll provide support across a broad range of BD activities including events, research, reporting and client development initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the firm, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of business development activity and helping to strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and business development support to the Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Business Development and Senior BD Executives.
- Support the planning and delivery of conferences, events and BD activities, including venue coordination, invitations, attendee research and follow-up actions.
- Conduct research into target sectors, companies, industry bodies and market opportunities to support BD campaigns.
- Assist with the delivery of client development initiatives, thought leadership campaigns and sector activity.
- Coordinate internal BD meetings, prepare agendas, meeting notes and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate BD records, track actions and support reporting activity.
- Support the processing of BD invoices and budget tracking.
- Assist with inbound BD enquiries and general team administration.
- Maintain BD content on the firm's intranet and support internal communications.
- Work closely with the wider Marketing team to support events, projects and initiatives.
- Provide reception support, welcoming clients and visitors to the Birmingham office.
Person Specification
- Previous experience within a Business Development, Marketing or professional services environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
- Confident working with internal stakeholders and external contacts.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to produce high-quality documents and presentations.
- A collaborative approach with a willingness to support wider team objectives.
