Talent Frame are delighted to be working with a leading global law firm to hire a Business Development Advisor to join their Energy & Infrastructure team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support one of the firm's most strategically important practice areas, working closely with partners, lawyers and business development professionals across an international network. The role offers excellent exposure to sector strategy, client development, major pursuits and business growth initiatives within a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of business development and client growth strategies across the Energy & Infrastructure practice
- Assist with the preparation and management of major pitches, panel submissions and pursuit opportunities
- Conduct market and client research, using data and insights to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions to support cross-selling initiatives and integrated campaigns
- Contribute to the planning and execution of client events, sector campaigns and go-to-market activities
- Develop and maintain high-quality credentials, pitch materials, presentations and business development content
- Support the implementation of client development initiatives and relationship-building programmes
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and sector developments to inform business development activity
- Build strong working relationships with lawyers and business services teams to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives
- Provide wider support across business development and marketing activities as required
Person Specification
- Previous business development experience gained within a professional services environment, ideally legal services
- Experience supporting business development strategy, client development programmes or sector-focused initiatives
- Exposure to pitches, proposals and complex client opportunities
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work effectively across multiple teams and seniority levels
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to work
Technical Skills & Experience
- Experience using CRM systems, business development tools and market intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Interest in or exposure to the Energy & Infrastructure sector would be advantageous
- Degree educated or equivalent professional experience preferred
